CHAPTER LEADER INFORMATION
Chapter PresidentThe President has executive responsibility to provide the vision, structure, culture, and environment to enable the chapter to meet the mission and goals created as a team. Vice President of CommunicationsThe Vice President of Communications oversees activities related to communication among the chapter members at large, and communication with the community and other professional associations. Additionally, this position oversees activities related to the marketing of chapter initiatives and will manage all social media communications.Vice President of OperationsThe Vice President of Operations manages the logistics, site selection, and event-day operations, creating an environment that promotes learning and engagement for members and attendees. | Vice President of ProgramsThe vice president or director of programs and events oversees the chapter’s programming function, including responsibility for topic/speaker selection, site selection, and overall meeting management and reporting.Vice President of FinanceThe Vice President of Finance manages the operational finances of the chapter. They coordinate the budget and operational issues with other board members, as well as administrative services. They assure that chapter operations are in compliance with ATD's Chapter Affiliation Requirements (CARE) Geographic Interest Group (GIG) PresidentA Geographic Interest Group (GIG) is a cluster of members within our chapter who reside/work in the same geographic area. For many years, the North Alabama GIG has been a vital part of ATD Greater Birmingham. | Vice President of MembershipThe Vice President of Membership manages the overall membership function including the design and implementation of programs that broaden membership engagement for the chapter, increasing membership by an identified goal, and retaining current members.Vice President of TechnologyThe Vice President of Technology is an elected officer of the chapter who is responsible to identify, implement and maintain website content and features and other technologies that will support board goals and improve member services. |
